Project Summary

Crushed is a feature film that will go into pre-production in 2025 and will be filmed in November 2025. Post production on Crushed will continue into 2026 and the film should be ready for release in the second half of 2026 or early 2027.

The film is in the tradition of the smash hit romantic comedy Sideways (2004) which grossed over 100 Million worldwide.

Crushed stars Travis Jeffery (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Gallipoli, Unbroken), Peter Rowsthorn (Kath and Kim) and Myles Pollard (Drift, Mcleod’s Daughters). Crushed is written and directed by novelist and filmmaker Adam Morris. Adam’s latest novel Bird was recently translated into German by Edition Nautilus Press in Hamburg.

Crushed will also show off the breathtaking landscapes and natural wonders of WA’s Great Southern Region as well as put a spotlight on the world class wine country that trails along the southern coast of Western Australia.

Kinjarling Films is Australia’s fastest growing film company, garnering a formidable reputation as it continues to build a thriving independent cinema industry in Albany, WA. Crushed will be the fifth feature film made by Kinjarling Films in as many years.

The film stars Travis Jeffery (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes), Peter Rowsthorn (Kath and Kim) and Myles Pollard (Drift, McLeod’s Daughters)

The film is produced by Adam Morris and Talarah Pedrocchi Roelofs of Kinjarling Films.

Crushed will be Kinjarling Film’s fifth feature film.

Project highlights:

This opportunity will give the investor an opening into the Australian film industry by becoming a producer or associate producer on the film.

This credit will be given above the line as the film opens and will appear before the other producer credits as well as before the director credits.

As well as a 50% equity stake in the films potential profits, an investor with a creative company may wish to include the company branding in the film, either as product placement or as above the line credits for example “Scott Free productions presents Crushed”

  • the strength, experience, capabilities and capacity to execute the proposed project;
  • a growth plan, and how that growth will be funded;
  • how the investment proponent will need to be in the correct business structure.

3. Submit your project for review

We will review your Project Brief and work with you to make sure it is ready for investors.

4. Approval and listing

We communicate with you via email as you create, save, submit and revise your investment opportunity. Our team may contact you directly during the review and revision process. We will always confirm by email after your investment project has been approved by us for listing.
