CO•CO | Cook & Connect

Early Stage (pre-seed) Tourism, Events & Creative Industries Perth Greater Metro

Back to investment opportunities

Seeking investment value of $2.5M

Project Summary (Excerpt)

CO•CO is a scalable shared kitchen concept, described as a “gym for cooking”, designed to transform how people cook, eat, and connect.

By offering bookable, fully-equipped cooking stations in a vibrant social environment, CO•CO removes the key barriers of modern cooking: time, space, equipment, and motivation.

The model combines recurring revenue streams (memberships, bookings) with high-margin experiences (workshops, events, corporate programs), creating a strong and diversified business foundation.

The first flagship site in Perth will serve as a high-performance pilot, validating unit economics and customer demand before scaling through a structured franchise model.

CO•CO sits at the intersection of food, wellbeing, and the experience economy – a rapidly growing sector with strong commercial and social upside.

Project Description

CO•CO reimagines the kitchen as a destination. Instead of cooking alone in constrained environments, users access a premium, fully equipped space designed for autonomy, learning, and social connection.

Customers can book individual stations, follow guided recipes, attend workshops, or participate in curated events. The experience is flexible: from functional meal prep to social cooking experiences.

The concept addresses a clear market gap. While interest in cooking, health, and food experiences is rising, most people lack the infrastructure and support to act on it consistently. CO•CO bridges that gap with an accessible, structured, and engaging solution.

Revenue is generated through a hybrid model:

  • Station bookings (core usage)
  • Memberships (recurring revenue)
  • Workshops and events (high margin)
  • Corporate and community programs (B2B layer)

The model also integrates curated programming such as chef residencies, collaborations with local producers, and themed events, strengthening both customer experience and local ecosystem engagement.

The Perth flagship is designed as a fully operational proof of concept, capturing data on utilisation, pricing, customer behaviour, and retention. This data underpins a scalable expansion strategy through replication and franchising.

CO•CO is not only a venue, it is a system designed to scale.
